France – A Magical Journey of Food & Wine

Wine & History
Through France

Ahh, France and it’s vineyards, it is a MUST destination for anyone who appreciates fabulous wine and traditions. Stunning scenery and iconic sights will be discovered at every turn. The variety of powerful, high-quality reds and whites will leave your taste buds tantalized. Contact me regarding our group departing July 25, 2017 for Bordeaux – 12 night tour. OR cruise the Rhone River visiting many wine regions departing April 5, 2017.

This magnificent country not only offers an extreme education in wine but the culinary aspect is unbelievable. I have planned many wonderful trips to various regions in France, and would be more than happy to plan one for you. However, I believe one of my favorite ways of traveling to these destinations and experiencing the wines is on a small riverboat. These vessels are luxurious, offer impeccable service, exquisite multi-course meals and the wine and champagne just flows and flows.

I escorted a group on a wine-themed cruise this spring (2016) on the Rhone River it has to rank as one of the best wine trips yet. Check out the blog giving great insight into the trip.

Whether you chose by land or water, you must discover France and all it has to provide with captivating views of medieval towns, colorful landscapes and thousands of vineyards. The beauty, the history, the food, the people, you will return a different person than when you left.

About 1 ½ hours drive east of Paris is the historic homeland of the “Bubbly” and is thick with vineyards and honeycombed with an extensive network of caves. Dom Perignon, Mumms and Taitinger are just a few winery visits for this region.
