Day 1/ Nov 02 – Arrive in Chiang Mai (D)
Arrive in Chiang Mai, welcome by our tour guide and transfer to hotel check-in.
Evening welcome dinner at authentic Thai restaurant.
(Note: we provide one time transfer from airport to hotel)

Day 2/ Nov 03 – Merit making – Karen Village – Wat Ton Kwen – Lanna House Museum (B,L)
An early morning special as you gain one of the memorable spiritual experiences as most of the Thai daily rituals do by offering food to the monks. You will be a part of this ritual.
After breakfast at the hotel, drive to countryside of Chiang Mai to the beautiful valley, Baan Thong Luang. This village of Karen hill tribes from Myanmar. We will explore the culture and lifestyle of the long neck Padaung. Lunch will be served at local restaurant. After lunch, visit Wat Ton Kwen, the old temple dates back about 150 years, which is still preserved in traditional Lanna Style. You will enjoy the peaceful surroundings with less travelers. Then visit the Lanna Traditional House Museum while learning insight of the architect and how people live in the former time. Back to the hotel for some leisure time.

Day 3/ Nov 04 – Chiang Mai – Baan Chang Elephant – Lisu Lodge (B,L,D)
After breakfast, we will drive to the Baanchang Elephant Park. This is where you will share your love and care of our elephants after they have been rescued from very hard work. They will receive the rest and joy that they deserve. Visitors will have a magical experience with the elephants, giving them a daily health check, take the elephants for a walk to feed and exercise them through the jungle (no riding), observe the elephants resting in their natural environment, and bathe and scrub the elephants. Lunch, tea & coffee break will be served in the park. You get to experience a day with happy and healthy elephants.
We continue driving to Lisu Lodge. Upon arrival, a traditional welcome drink will be served.
The rest of the afternoon is for your own activities and private yoga class.
Evening enjoy Thai dinner with a traditional Lisu performance show.

Day 4/ Nov 05 – Lisu Lodge – Araksa Tea Plantation – White Water Rafting (B,L,D)
Morning yoga session
After breakfast, start an exciting day with an easy 8 miles of cycling to Muang Guert. Passing by rice paddy fields you will arrive at the Araksa Tea Plantation. Upon arrival, enjoy the beauty of the lush tea plantation and learn all about the tea growing process. You will be invited to join resident tea pickers, watch how the leaves are processed according to age-old traditions and then enjoy a cup of tea and traditional Thai snack.
Then continue cycling to the rafting station After a healthy picnic lunch on the bank of the river, you will experience about 45 minutes of white water rafting that will take you to a traditional Thai country village.
Return to Lisu Lodge by local truck. Please note that there will be a private support van if you choose not to do the biking. The white water rafting is NOT big rapids and a fun way to view the beautiful river and scenery.
The rest of the afternoon is for your own activities and a private yoga class. Evening you get to enjoy a Thai dinner.

Day 5/ Nov 06 – Chiang Mai – Koh Yao Yai (B,D)
In the morning, transfer back to Chiang Mai airport for flight to Phuket. On arrival, you will have a warm welcome from the hotel staff. Transfer to pier and take a speedboat to Santhiya Koh Yao Yai.
Afternoon private yoga class. Dinner will be served at the resort.

Day 6/ Nov 07 – Koh Yao Yai – Phi Phi Don and Phi Phi Leh (B,L,D) – private tour
9:00 am depart from resort to Phi Phi Don (Nuy Bay) for snorkeling, then Phi Phi Leh, one of the most famous beaches on Phi Phi. You will have lunch at Losama bay on the beach. After lunch, we will continue to head to the Pileh Bay and cruising to view the Viking Cave. The next stop is either Hin Pear or Monkey Bay for snorkeling. If time permits we may be able to shop at Phi Phi island before we return to Santhiya resort.
Dinner will be served at the resort.
(Note: tour includes lunch boxes, soft drinks, snorkeling equipment, life jackets and entrance fee)

Day 7/ Nov 08 – Koh Yao Yai (B)
Today is a free day to spend as you wish.

Day 8/ Nov 09 – Koh Yao Yai – Bangkok – Baan Dvara- Prateep, Koh Kret (B,L,D)
Joining yoga session at the resort. Transfer to Phuket airport for the flight to Bangkok.
Upon arrival in Bangkok, you will be welcomed by the local tour guide and transfer you to Farm Ang-Thong pier in Nonthaburi to board a boat for a 15 minute transfer to Baan Dvara-Prateep on Koh Kred. Arrive at Baan Dvara-Prateep where you will be welcomed with true Thai hospitality. Breath in the deep embrace of nature. You will first experience the relaxing “Oriental stretching” exercise to improve blood circulation and respiration. This will assist balance and self-healing. Regular practice of this will help reduce tension, frustration and depression.
This afternoon, Sip tea and enjoy the taste of Thai sweets as you watch their preparation. Go exploring on foot or bicycle, these are the two best ways to experience the ambience of serenity and simple beauty on the island. Visit Batik and enjoy glass painting before you return to Baan Dvara-Prateep.
Evening, a well-prepared Thai traditional dinner will be served.

Day 9/ Nov 10 – Baan Dvara-Prateep, Koh Kret (B,L,D)
Say good morning to the morning sun and let’s give alms to the monks coming by small boat.
After greeting the monks, the Thais usually pass on the merits made to their deceased relatives or ancestors by pouring water into a glass and then onto mother earth to confirm their good intentions.
Stretch the whole body while listening to the morning coming to life along the river.
Enjoy a Thai breakfast. After breakfast, enjoy cooking with the host family. This opportunity is not only to learn about the Thai cooking but also to create awareness of the application of natural herbs. In a health conscious world today, herbs, which are used in most Thai dishes, play an important role in curing diseases and providing required ingredients for our body. Afternoon, delight in the creation of the beautiful lotus arrangements. Learn how to artistically fold palm leaves and how to use natural scents to enchant the ambience of your room. Relax or practice the session of “The relaxation for further meditation”.
Evening, A well-prepared Thai traditional dinner will be served.
Before bedtime, gain merit by floating a small krathong (a bowl made of banana leaves with a lighted candle). This authentic tradition emphasizes the goodness of ancestors; their happiness and hardships are not forgotten by future generations.

Day 10/ Nov 11 – Baan Dvara-Prateep, Koh Kret – Bangkok (B,L)
In the morning, join one of local activities, “Fish Release”. Buddhists believe that we gain what we give. We gain life if we give life. Life will be better and happier, and we will be free from depression. The best of life comes from performing good deeds.
After breakfast, time to say a farewell to the host family and the spirit of the house. Check out and depart from the enchanting Baan Dvara-Prateep. Board a boat cruise down the Chao Phraya river back to Bangkok. As we travel we will share with you our traditional way of living. Along the way, stop to visit the Temple of Dawn, officially named Wat Arun an extraordinary feat of architecture and one of the most revered sights along the river. Then visit the Royal Barge Museum, the exquisite Grand Palace and Emerald Buddha Temple the palace occupies nearly one square mile. Built in 1782 by King Rama I, it was the center of power for more than 150 years. Photography is permitted in the Royal Palace Grounds and in the compounds of the Emerald Buddha Temple, but not inside the buildings. After an authentic Thai lunch at a local restaurant, we will head to Wat Pho, the reclining Buddha Temple. Transfer to hotel check in. The rest of the evening is yours to spend as you wish. We will be doing evening yoga.
Dress Code: Participants on this tour should note that the chapel is a national shrine and you will be required to wear proper attire (no bare shoulders, tank tops or sun dresses). Shoes must be removed before entering the temple buildings as a matter of respect.

Day 11/ Nov 12 – Bangkok – Walking Tour KudiChin Community (B)
In the morning you will transfer to Thonburi District on the west bank of Chao Phraya River and south of Bangkok Yai canal to visit a small town – the Portuguese Kudichin Community, where Christians, Buddhists, and Muslim communities live in harmony. We walk by the houses along the alley, stop at the fresh market, see the Baan Kudi Chin Museum, the Princess Mother Memorial Park, the Tuek Daeng Mosque, the Santa Cruz Church and lastly visit the Wat Kalayanamit, a temple that houses the biggest sitting Buddha image in Bangkok, 15 meters tall and 12 meters wide. Leaving Kudee Chin, we will take a boat shuttle to the Park Along Talad to explore fruit and flower markets then we will stop at Napasorn Flower Art & Floral Cafe for refreshment or ice cream. Back to the hotel in the afternoon and the rest of the day is free for your own activities along with evening yoga.

Day 12/ Nov 13 – Bangkok – Departure (B)
Free time is available until check out at noon. Transfer to the airport for your departure flight. Have a safe trip!
