Take a “very” short flight to Vancouver B.C. on Sept. 19 and board the absolutely stunning Island Princess cruise ship. This vessel will knock your socks off with exquisite dining choices, entertainment beckoning from every corner of your vessel with endless enjoyment day and night, even movies under the stars. Try your hand with the on board casino or take opportunities to revitalize your body and mind at sea when you indulge in luxurious spa treatment AND enjoy the “suite life” in either your mini suite or balcony stateroom. Sept. 19 Fly into Vancouver BC and transfer to your new home for 7 nights/8 days. Princess is very well known for their wonderful dining experiences and this will for sure not disappoint anyone. There is a bar or lounge for just about every mood, offering a wide array of adult beverages. The ship carrys 2200 passengers and had a plethora of venues to participate in while on board. We are planning several special events to take place while sailing.

Sept. 20 Arrive in Astoria and depart in your private motor coach to the Willamette Valley, famous for their pinot. John has planned two very special winery visits to Elk Cove and Pike Road, along with a special lunch.

Sept. 21 A full day at sea to enjoy the wonderful shipboard life at your leisure. This will be a great time to do exactly what you wish to do, whether it is indulging in a spa treatment, the casino, or just relaxing.

Sept. 22 “Day of the Bubbles” Arrival in San Francisco and head towards the Sonoma wine region to explore the wineries of Domain Carneros and Domaine Chandon. This day is guaranteed to be quite a treat for your palette. We will be returning early enough so that you can enjoy some nightlife in SFO as the ship does not sail until 11:00 pm.

Sept 23 Another wonderful, relaxing day at sea.

Sept. 24 Arrival in Santa Barbara to explore two more wineries. We will also be stopping in the darling Danish town of Solvang to do a little shopping or have a bite to eat.

Sept. 25 Arrival in San Diego exploring this beautiful city as we head to the Temecula wine region. We are still finalizing the winery visits but again, guaranteed to be a wonderful treat.

Sept. 26 The sailing part of this cruise is over but a highlight is yet to come. After disembarking the ship,you will be picked up in your private motor coach for a journey south across the Mexican border. There will be a stop in Puerto Nuevo and a lobster lunch. Continue to hotel your beautiful, check in and enjoy a reception and dinner at Cuatro Cuatros Restaurant.

Sept. 27 Depart at 10:00 am for the Wine Museum of Mexico. There will also be a cheese and olive oil tasting at Dona Lupe. You will be amazed at the wine industry in Mexico when you visit LA Cetto for a tour, tasting and lunch at Esperanza. The last winery visit will be at Encuentro Guadalupe. Return to the hotel for some free time and then depart at 6:00 pm for your dinner at Finca Altozano

Sept. 28 Vena Cava will be your first winery visit, then on to El Ceilo which will also include lunch after the tasting. We will round out the day with a visit to Decantos. Once again, special dinner arrangements have been made at Laja.

Sept. 29 Check out of your hotel and visit the first winery of the day – Vinos Liceaga. The second winery and farewell luncheon will be at Concha y Vino. Depart the Valle de Guadalupe at 1:00 pm and pass through immigration and arrive in San Diego around 5:00pm. Fly back home.
